Location

The 5-star resort of the renowned Mövenpick hotel chain is situated in a quiet location directly on the coast of the Red Sea with golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear water. The chic complex is located directly on the gently sloping sandy beach of Soma Bay. The Soma Bay reef impresses with its colourful underwater world and invites you to snorkel and dive. A long bathing jetty allows easy access to the deeper water behind the reef and offers a fantastic view over the turquoise blue water. The airport and the centre of Hurghada are approx. 50 km north of the resort.

Facilities

The 418 rooms and suites of the Mövenpick Resort Soma Bay, decorated in azure blue and cream colours, enchant guests with their special flair. The stylishly furnished entrance hall welcomes guests with a blend of elegance and a feel-good atmosphere and is equipped with a reception and seating areas. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace, an Italian à la carte restaurant, and an oriental outdoor à la carte restaurant, designed in an Arabic style. In the restaurants, guests are treated to fresh specialities and an extra portion of Mövenpick's culinary creativity. In addition, a pool bar, a beach bar, and a lobby bar (adults-only quiet zone for ages 18+, families with children will be served on the outdoor terrace) are available for snacks and refreshments. The resort also has several shops, including a souvenir shop, a mini-market, and a boutique. Nestled within a beautifully landscaped garden, the spacious pool area with sun terrace and pool bar stretches out in the heart of the complex.
For extra fun in the water, the newly built "Splash Mania" water park offers various splash pools and water slides for all ages.

Double Room (D)

The luxurious rooms are approx. 30 m² and equipped with bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, LCD satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), cosmetic mirror, coffee/tea making facilities (refilled daily, including a 1.5-litre bottle of water), safe, and individually controlled air conditioning. Some rooms have a French balcony; otherwise, no balcony or terrace.

Super Saver Room (SSZ)

The saver rooms are equipped like the double rooms but have a special price and limited availability.

The deluxe sea view rooms are equipped like the deluxe double rooms but have a sea view.

Family Room (DF2)

The family rooms are equipped like the double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 60 m²) with additional sofa beds and a large balcony. Mountain view.
Please note that a room for two adults and three children can be cramped.
