Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter long lagoon with its own stretch of beach in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty extends from Zeytouna Beach into the Red Sea, offering a chance to experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is about 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in a Nubian village style, impresses with a cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches. It offers 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort features a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas. The outdoor area boasts four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for the little guests, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools features small slides and water games. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, coffee/tea making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) are renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a garden or a refreshing pool view. The rooms are equipped with two types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Also bookable for 3 people (TDS) and for single use (DSE).

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7:00 AM - 10:00 AM), lunch (12:00 PM - 2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers afternoon tea with various snacks from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30 AM - 11:00 AM buffet style), lunch (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12:00 PM - 3:00 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are served to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, Sunset Bar, Dolphin Bar, Lagoon Bar, Lounge Bar, and Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities. The All-Inclusive offer is valid daily until midnight.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests on half board, full board, or All-Inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine at participating restaurants in other hotels – without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine at hotels in the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
A table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12:00 PM on the same day) is recommended.

Sports included

Sports for a fee

Bicycle rental, billiards, and a diving center at the hotel (external provider) with various water sports activities. Additionally, El Gouna offers various fitness activities through external providers, such as tennis and golf (18-hole golf course).
