Location

Opened at the end of 2021, this beautiful hotel complex is located directly in the heart of Makadi Bay, next to its popular sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (HRG223). The holiday resort is situated on the first beach line, offering access to the most beautiful snorkeling and diving spots in the bay. This provides an opportunity to explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea directly from the gently sloping beach. The city center of Hurghada is approx. 37 km away, and Hurghada Airport is approx. 32 km away.

With its unique and high-quality dining concept, this hotel stands out in Egypt, offering a choice of three in-house à la carte restaurants ("Lucina" - international cuisine, "Gaia" - Italian cuisine, and "Yades" - Greek cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The "Posh Club Lounge" à la carte restaurant is exclusively available to Posh Club members and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additionally, guests of "SUNRISE Tucana Resort Grand Select" can use the eight à la carte restaurants of the sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" free of charge, providing a diverse selection in the evening. The extensive outdoor area of the hotel features three pools (heated in winter). One pool is exclusively for members of the Posh Club (Adults-only pool). The Lexi Swim Up Suite (SWP) is larger (approx. 43 m²) than the Superior Double Rooms and offers the same amenities. The rooms feature a terrace with access to a shared swim-up pool. The terrace is equipped with a dining table and two separate sun loungers. Please note that your booked room has direct access to a shared pool, and there is no dedicated lifeguard supervision. If booking with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for their supervision.

Superior Double Room

The friendly decorated rooms (DSU, approx. 35 m²) are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, and a balcony or terrace. Also available for single use (DEU) or type B (DUB).

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) are larger than the Superior Double Rooms (approx. 40 m²) with the same amenities and a garden view. Also available for single use (DD1). Can also be booked under code DDB.

The Junior Suites Jacuzzi (2JJ, approx. 36 m²) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with a private outdoor Jacuzzi on the terrace. Also available for single use (1JJ).

Junior Suite Swim Up

The Junior Suites Swim Up (SUJ) are more spacious than the Superior Double Rooms (approx. 43 m²), with a small seating area and direct access to a shared swim-up pool. The suites (X2S) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 100 m²) and consist of two bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, a living/sleeping area, and a terrace. Executive Suite Jacuzzi partial sea view

Tucana Pool Suite partial sea view

The Tucana Pool Suites (PSW) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 50-65 m²), with a king-size bed, a bathroom with shower and access to a private outdoor shower (partially screened and not visible), a seating area, and a terrace with access to a private pool. The suites have a partial sea view. Please note that your booked room has a private pool, and there is no dedicated lifeguard supervision. If booking with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for their supervision.

Tucana Jacuzzi Suite

The Tucana Jacuzzi Suites (S2J) are more spacious than the Superior Double Rooms (approx. 60-67 m²) and have a balcony with a Jacuzzi. Also available with partial or direct sea view (S2M). From Summer 25 onwards, bookable as Tucana Jacuzzi Suite partial sea view (S2M).

The unique dining concept offers breakfast from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and dinner from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to enjoy your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge." Sparkling wine breakfast is included in all four restaurants. Additionally, dinner can optionally be enjoyed in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants at the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet & Light, Bedouin Restaurant).
