Route:

Day 1:

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day 2:

A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on site).

In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to visit Hatshepsut's Temple (1,2,3) and the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3:

Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.

Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).

Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4:

In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).

Then visit Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).

Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5:

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.

Then back to Kom Ombo.

Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.

Day 6:

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7:

Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit Edfu Temple (1,2,3).

Then the ship continues to Luxor.

Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the French balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 m²) than the suites with otherwise identical amenities, and may not have a French balcony and a seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A seawater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully landscaped garden area to the reception building and can be navigated by shuttle boats. Facilities include a stylish reception hall with a reception desk, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
The outdoor area features four swimming pools with separate children's pools (four of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), a sun terrace, and a pool bar. A brand-new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built aqua park with 11 different slides for all ages, adding an extra dose of excitement and action to your holiday. The rooms (SL2) are equipped like the double rooms, but are larger (approx. 45 m²) and have a lagoon view. On the lawn in front of the residential building, there are Bali beds offering an exclusive chill-out option for guests in these rooms.
