Route:

Day 1:

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day 2:

A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (bookable optionally on site).

In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3:

Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.

Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).

Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4:

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).

Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).

Then visit a Nubian village (3).

Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5:

Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.

Then back to Kom Ombo.

Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.

Day 6:

Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7:

Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).

Afterwards, the ship sails on to Luxor.

Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. Starting in Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking views of the landscape along the Nile.

The brightly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
On the balcony of the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) and may not have a French balcony or seating area, but rather a non-opening window.
