The following excursions are automatically included when booking the MS Nile Excellence: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then, we sail back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
The ship then continues sailing to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and includes a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and the three bars on board serving cool drinks. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship has a small fitness studio that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The brightly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/toilet, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Location

The Jaz Lamaya hotel is situated on a slight elevation above the beach bay of Madinat Coraya. The beautiful, intact house reef with corals, some of which reach the shore, offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. Access to the sea is about 150 m from the hotel. A jetty leads directly into the water at the hotel. Numerous shops, bars, and a beautiful promenade are located in the idyllic harbor town of Port Ghalib. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

This resort complex was specially designed for a relaxing family holiday. The very elegant and spacious resort was built in a Moorish-oriental style and has a total of 389 rooms, spread across a main building and several two- and three-story residential buildings. The hotel features a stylish lobby with a reception area and seating, a main restaurant with a non-smoking section, a hairdresser, several shops, a bar, and an amphitheater. The extensive outdoor area includes a generously designed pool landscape with four swimming pools (three of which are heated in winter), a separate children's pool (heated in winter), a hangout area, and a beach/pool bar, as well as a new food court on the beach with snacks, drinks, and desserts. Beach towels, loungers, and umbrellas are available free of charge at the hotel's private beach and by the pools. The Coraya Aquapark is within walking distance and will delight children.
