Route description:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit of the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed with a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and relax with cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or a double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
On the balcony of the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which first opened in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, offering the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty makes it easier to enter deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and features 203 rooms and suites spread across several buildings. The complex has a reception area with seating and an adjoining outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adult-only pool (Oasis Pool), as well as an Island and Kid's pool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves international à la carte cuisine until the evening and Italian à la carte cuisine in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the holiday resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but more spacious (SUJ, approx. 60 sqm). Additionally, these rooms have access to the shared swim-up pool. Also bookable for single use (SUE).

Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have a terrace with similar amenities to the double rooms. The rooms are located in close proximity to the beach.
For an additional charge, they are also bookable with direct access to a private pool (BSD).

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 sqm and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms have similar amenities and additionally a balcony with a Jacuzzi and a sea view.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea and various fresh juices (7 AM - 10:30 AM, and late riser breakfast from 10:30 AM - 11 AM upon request), lunch (1 PM - 3 PM) and dinner (7 PM - 10 PM) in buffet style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also included without restriction (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7 AM - 10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30 PM - 5 PM international cuisine, 7 PM - 10 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM - 10 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3 PM to 5 PM. A midnight snack is available to guests from 11 PM to 1 AM in the Boscage Restaurant.
