Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 Early in the morning, you have the option of an optional hot air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the cruise.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Continue sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the cruise.
 Visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3), followed by sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, sailing continues from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional local life.
Subsequent breakfast on board during the cruise.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
 Back on board, enjoy lunch during the cruise to Hor Diab Island.
Upon arrival at Hor Diab Island, there's an opportunity to swim in the Nile.
Dinner on board with entertainment and overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 5
Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae (1,2,3), then a Felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile
as well as an optional visit to the Nubian village (3).
 Lunch on board
Optional participation in the Sound and Light show at the Temple of Philae (starts at 7:00 PM).
Dinner, entertainment, and overnight stay.
Day 6
 Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel with breakfast box included (2,3)
Breakfast on board for guests not taking the Abu Simbel excursion.
 Lunch and subsequent tea time during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14-hour trip)
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay in Esna.
Day 7
 Breakfast and lunch on board, sailing from Esna to Luxor (approx. 6 hours)
 Arrival in Luxor, visit the East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3), city tour, and visit to the oriental souk
 Optional excursion to the Luxor Museum (3).
Dinner, entertainment, and overnight stay on board.
Day 8
Breakfast on board and departure.

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style, inspired by antiquity up to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread across two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreat areas such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool and a comfortable bar.

Location

The Jaz Amara resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for the presence of turtles and has a house reef inviting for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found in the harbor of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites, spread throughout the complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very attractive, elegant design and has been conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers direct sea views of the resort and the bay, and features a reception with various seating areas and a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a Jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area and on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Double Room Superior

The friendly furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51m²) have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also bookable with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also available for single occupancy.

Double Room Superior Sea View guaranteed top floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms and have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the sharing pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included again (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Deluxe rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior but are larger (approx. 56m²) and are suitable for families due to their features (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Optionally also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. Furthermore, the Executive Suites have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. Additionally, the rooms have a spacious terrace with access to the private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea views.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).
