Combined package of a Nile cruise with the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at your leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
Early morning optional hot air balloon ride.
Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the cruise.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
Continue sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the cruise.
Visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3), then continue sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, sail from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.
Breakfast on board during the onward journey.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
Back on board, lunch during the cruise to Hor Diab Island.
Upon arrival at Hor Diab Island, there's an opportunity to swim in the Nile.
Dinner on board with entertainment and overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 5
Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae (1,2,3), then a Felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile
as well as an optional visit to the Nubian Village (3).
Lunch on board.
Optional participation in the Sound and Light show at the Temple of Philae (starts at 7:00 PM).
Dinner, entertainment, and overnight stay.
Day 6
Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel with packed breakfast (2,3).
Breakfast on board for guests not taking the Abu Simbel excursion.
Lunch and subsequent tea time during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14-hour journey).
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay in Esna.
Day 7
Breakfast and lunch on board, sailing from Esna to Luxor (approx. 6 hours).
Arrival in Luxor, visit the East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3), city tour and visit to the oriental souk.
Optional excursion to the Luxor Museum (3).

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines Pharaonic elegance with classic style, inspired by antiquity up to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread across two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreat areas such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool and a cozy bar.

Location

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the dreamlike, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, thus offering the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty makes it easier to enter deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is about 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The Schauinsland-Reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex features a reception with seating and an adjoining outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adults-only pool (Oasis Pool), and an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). Restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant during the day and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the resort offers a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and, with similar amenities to the double rooms, have a terrace. The rooms are located in close proximity to the beach.

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 sqm and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms, with otherwise similar amenities, also have a balcony with a jacuzzi and a sea view.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea, as well as various freshly squeezed juices (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM and late riser breakfast 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM on request), lunch (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM), and dinner (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM) as a buffet. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also fully included (subject to availability and prior reservation): "Basilico" (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM international cuisine, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A midnight snack is available for guests from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM in the Boscage Restaurant. Local non-alcoholic drinks are available around the clock at one of the seven bars (one of the bars is adults only). Local alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

Imported alcoholic beverages are subject to a charge. Shisha is also available in the evening.

Sports included

An indoor fitness studio with various CrossFit equipment is available to guests free of charge from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The minimum age for the fitness studio is 16 years. Also available are a tennis court (on request, subject to availability, floodlights for a fee), beach volleyball, darts, boccia, mini-golf, sunset meditation, water aerobics, and aerobics.

Sports for a fee

German-speaking dive center (International Diving), various water sports activities on the beach (local providers, for a fee).

Children's program

For the little holidaymakers, the SUNRISE Kids Planet Club is available (kids club is multilingual, including German). It caters to children aged 3-12 years and is open every day of the week. The resort also has a children's pool, a mini disco, and a separate area in the buffet restaurant. Babysitter service is available upon request for a fee.

Wellness

The spa area (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM) includes a sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, and Turkish bath, and also offers various massages.
