Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, only bookable on-site).
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Afterwards, proceed to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, proceed to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, the Kom Ombo Temple can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Then, there is an opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 a.m., there is an opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3); breakfast box is included.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Continue sailing to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).
Day 8:
Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The facilities are complemented by a reading corner and a lounge bar. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiard room on board. You can relax and enjoy your vacation on the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks are available for a fee.

Location

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first row of the popular bay of Marsa Mares. The bay is particularly known for the settlement of sea turtles and has a house reef that invites you to snorkel and dive. Your holiday accommodation is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (approx. 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites, spread throughout the complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort surprises with a very appealing, elegant design and was conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers direct sea views of the resort and the bay, and features a reception with various seating areas and a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area as well as on the private beach. Bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Double Room Superior

The friendly furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also available with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS), and sea view (DMU). Also bookable for single occupancy.

Double Room Superior with guaranteed top-floor sea view

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms and have the same features as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the shared pool and sun loungers on the terrace. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the room
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, an additional 2 bathrobes, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolates, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included one more time (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Double Room Deluxe

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, the Double Deluxe rooms (DD2) are larger (approx. 56m²) and suitable for families due to their features (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Also available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to the private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

Otherwise same amenities as Double Rooms Superior, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).
