Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The newly built SUNRISE Anjum Resort Grand Select, which opened for the first time in April 2024, impresses with its modern Bohemian style. The resort is located directly on the stunning, hotel-owned lagoon sandy beach, offering the perfect conditions for snorkelers and divers. The jetty facilitates entry into deeper water. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers away from the hotel.

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 203 rooms and suites spread across various buildings. The complex features a reception area with seating and an adjacent outdoor terrace. In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five different pools, including a splash pool, an infinity whirlpool, an adults-only pool (Oasis Pool), and an island and kids' pool (all pools are heated in winter). The restaurants include the Boscage Restaurant (international cuisine, open buffet), the à la carte restaurant "Manzoku" (Asian cuisine), and "Basilico," which serves as an international à la carte restaurant until the evening and an Italian à la carte restaurant in the evening. All à la carte restaurants are included and can be visited daily with a reservation. Snacks are available to guests at the "Indigo Terrace" bar. A total of seven different bars, one of which is adults only, offer a selection of drinks. Additionally, the resort has a spa area, a fitness studio, a beauty salon, a kids' club, and various shops.

The rooms (2FS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) and consist of two bedrooms separated by a door (one with a queen-size bed and one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower and a terrace.

The Executive Suites are larger (ES2, approx. 70 sqm) with amenities similar to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a dressing room, a bathroom with a separate shower, a seating area, and a terrace.

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but more spacious (SUJ, approx. 60 sqm). Additionally, these rooms have access to the shared swim-up pool. Also bookable for single use (SUE).

Deluxe Beach Front Swim-up Suite

The rooms (S2U) are approx. 45 sqm and have a terrace with similar amenities to the double rooms. The rooms are located very close to the beach.
For an additional charge, also bookable with direct access to the private pool (BSD).

Anjum Jacuzzi Suite Sea View

The Anjum Jacuzzi Suite (S2J) is approx. 80 sqm and consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms have similar amenities and additionally feature a balcony with a jacuzzi and sea view.

The main restaurant "Boscage" offers breakfast including coffee and tea as well as various fresh juices (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM and late riser breakfast 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM upon request), lunch (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM) and dinner (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM) in buffet style. If needed, the following à la carte restaurants are also included without restrictions (subject to availability with prior reservation): "Basilico" (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM à la carte breakfast, 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM international cuisine, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM Italian cuisine) and "Manzoku," which is open from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM and offers Asian cuisine. At the "Indigo Bar," coffee, tea, and cake are served daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A midnight snack is available for guests from 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM in the Boscage Restaurant. Local non-alcoholic drinks are available around the clock at one of the seven bars (one bar is adults only). Local alcoholic drinks are included from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

Sports included

An indoor fitness studio with various CrossFit equipment is available to guests free of charge from 8 AM to 8 PM. The minimum age for the fitness studio is 16 years. Also, a tennis court (on request, subject to availability, floodlights for a fee), beach volleyball, darts, boccia, mini-golf, sunset meditation, aqua aerobics, and aerobics.

Sports for a fee

Children's program

For the little vacationers, the SUNRISE Kids Planet Club is available (kids club multilingual, including German). It looks after children aged 3-12 and is open every day of the week. Wellness

The spa area (10 AM to 7 PM) features a sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, and Turkish bath, and also offers various massages. The spa area is available for a fee and for guests aged 16 and over.
