Location

This spacious family resort from the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain will delight water lovers of all ages. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in a tranquil setting at Albatros Sea World. Direct access leads to the hotel's own 500 m long sandy beach. The beautiful house reef offers excellent opportunities to explore the fascinating underwater world. Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 60 km away.

The sprawling hotel features a total of 950 rooms spread across numerous small buildings. The generously designed garden complex includes a total of 25 pools (two of which are heated in winter), a heated children's pool, and a dedicated aqua park for all ages. Facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, as well as a shopping arcade with numerous shops for browsing. The hotel's six restaurants offer a variety of culinary specialties, including the oriental main restaurant "Saffron" and four specialty restaurants that can be used without reservation ("Soprano" – Italian, "Zum Kaiser" – German, "L'Asiatique" – Asian, "Culina" – Mediterranean). Additionally, there is an international à la carte restaurant in the food court (included once per stay, reservation required). The offering is complemented by various cafes and bars. Two snack bars on the beach cater to light hunger pangs. The aqua park boasts 12 slides for adults, two pools with 12 slides and water features for children, as well as various pools and diverse sports and entertainment programs. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

The double rooms (D) are approximately 47 m² in size, modernly furnished, and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar (stocked daily with water), Wi-Fi (limited speed), and a safe. The rooms also have a balcony or terrace and garden or pool view (PD).
Available at an additional charge with partial sea view (DMS/DES) or direct sea view (DM/DEM).

Beachfront Sea View

The rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms and are located directly on the beach with a sea view.
From Winter 23/24, these rooms are bookable as Schauinsland-original rooms.

Junior Suite Pool View

The junior suites (J2P) are approximately 60 m² in size and have the same amenities as the double rooms, but with an additional open living area and a pool view.
Also bookable with partial sea view (J2S) and sea view (J2M).

Super Saver Room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but with a garden view and not always a preferred location, as well as a limited quota and special price.

Family Room Pool View

The family rooms (FP2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 70 m²). Beds are available for children, optically separated by a sliding door.

Deluxe Double Room Pool View

The newly built Deluxe Double Rooms Pool View (D2P) are luxuriously furnished and have a size of approximately 53 m². Otherwise, the amenities are similar to the double rooms. The modern rooms additionally feature a balcony or terrace with a pool view.
Also bookable for single occupancy (D1P).

Deluxe Suite Pool View

The spacious deluxe suites are newly built and modern. With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are larger (approx. 65 m²) and additionally feature a separate area for parents and one for children. The suites have a balcony or terrace with a pool view.
