Location

The dreamlike Gemma Resort is located south of Marsa Alam in Dorry Bay, an oasis of tranquility. The region is known for its unspoiled beaches far from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, the perfect place to relax. With its direct beachfront location, the resort offers a beautiful view of the shimmering Red Sea. The hotel's own 800 m long sandy beach, equipped with sunshades and loungers, invites you to relax. The offshore reef offers great opportunities to explore Egypt's fascinating underwater world. The center of Marsa Alam with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops is about 25 km away. Marsa Alam Airport is approx. 95 km and Hurghada Airport is approx. 310 km away.

Facilities

The 5-star resort creates a special atmosphere with clean lines and modern furnishings. The spacious complex features 313 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The hotel amenities include a spacious and inviting reception hall with a reception desk. For culinary delights, there is a buffet restaurant "Terra d'Oriente" with international cuisine and two à la carte restaurants, "La Mia Africa" with fusion cuisine and "Alaadino" with oriental cuisine. The offering is complemented by four bars, including a pool bar and a beach bar. Furthermore, the resort has a clubhouse, a shisha corner, and a few shops. In the beautifully landscaped outdoor area with a well-maintained garden, there are a total of nine swimming pools, including the main pool (heated) and two separate children's pools. Loungers and sunshades are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Double Room Deluxe (DD2)

The Double Rooms Deluxe (approx. 55 m²) are decorated in warm desert tones and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee and tea making facilities, king-size bed, seating area, and a balcony with a garden view.
Also available for single occupancy (DD1).

Double Room Superior (DSU)

The Double Rooms Superior (55 m²) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe and additionally feature two sofa beds and a balcony or terrace.
Also available with pool view (DSP) and for single occupancy (DEU/ESP).

The Family Rooms are larger than the Double Rooms (65 m²) and feature a king-size bed and two single beds, as well as a balcony or terrace.

Breakfast from 7 am to 10 am, lunch from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and dinner from 7 pm to 10 pm, each served buffet-style in "Terra d'Oriente".
Late risers' breakfast is served at the pool bar from 10:30 am to 12 pm. Pizza is available from 11 am to 6 pm, and various snacks are available from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Alternatively, dinner can be enjoyed in one of the à la carte restaurants from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm (included once per stay per week, reservation required).
