When booking a domestic flight from Mauritius to Rodrigues Island, please note the following transfer information, which is independent of the hotel:
Transfers are only possible with an international flight arrival before 1 PM / departure after 4 PM. If your arrival/departure is outside these times due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended immigration waiting times, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay in Mauritius. Waiting times of 3 hours or more may occur.
Free baggage allowance: 15kg + 5kg hand luggage. / Infants: 15kg plus stroller, but no hand luggage. / Excess baggage: approx. €4 per kilo.
For stays from October 1, 2025, the Republic of Mauritius will levy a tourism tax, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a city tax. The tourism tax is €3 per person per night and must be paid by all travelers aged 12 and over.
