Location

The resort is located directly on the beautiful beach of Le Morne in the southwest of Mauritius. La Gaulette, with its shopping and entertainment facilities as well as a supermarket, can be reached in approx. 10 km. The Riu Turquoise is located directly next to its sister hotel RIU Palace Mauritius. The capital city of Port Louis is approx. 60 km away. The transfer time from the airport is approx. 90 minutes.

The Riu Turquoise was completely renovated in 2024 and has 390 rooms spread across two 2-3 story buildings. Facilities include a reception area with seating, as well as a boutique. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant "La Gaulette" with show cooking stations, as well as two à la carte restaurants (Indian and a steakhouse) and four bars. The outdoor area features a sun terrace and two swimming pools, one swim-up bar (for ages 18 and over), and a separate children's pool with slides. Umbrellas, loungers, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool. Sun loungers are available free of charge on the beach.

Double room

The bright and modernly equipped double rooms (29m²) have a bathroom with a shower and toilet, bathrobe/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, and a furnished balcony or terrace. Double rooms with a side or direct sea view can also be booked at an additional charge.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style in the main restaurant. Dinner can also be enjoyed at one of the à la carte restaurants (reservations required). Local and imported non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks, are available at the open bar. The minibar is refilled every second day. Additionally, pastries are served at the Sports Bar during the day. The use of the safe is also included free of charge.
High chairs are available in the restaurants based on availability.
