Location

This adults-only resort is located directly on the beautiful beach of Le Morne in the southwest of Mauritius. La Gaulette, with its shopping and entertainment facilities as well as a supermarket, can be reached in approx. 10 km. The RIU Palace Mauritius is located immediately next to its sister hotel RIU Turquoise. The capital city, Port Louis, is about 60 km away. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 90 minutes.

The Riu Palace Mauritius has 310 rooms. In addition to a main restaurant with a live cooking station, there are two more à la carte restaurants, the "Krystal" and "Koari Asian" restaurants, as well as two further à la carte restaurants in the neighboring hotel RIU Turquoise (Indian and Steakhouse). Refreshing drinks are served at three different bars. In the outdoor area, there are 2 swimming pool complexes, one of which is exclusively for Elite Club guests. Sun terraces with sun loungers, mattresses, and umbrellas are available free of charge.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (approx. 33 m²) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, Smart TV, air conditioning (centrally controlled), safe (included), minibar (included), kettle, and a furnished balcony or terrace. Suites with a side or direct sea view can also be booked at an additional charge.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style. Dinner can also be enjoyed at one of the four à la carte restaurants (two of which are located in RIU Turquoise and require advance reservation). Continental late risers' breakfast is available at the Sports Bar (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM). Pizza, pasta, and salads are served at the snack bar (12:00 PM - 3:00 PM), followed by snacks (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM). Local and imported non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available at the respective open bars (10:00 AM - 12:00 AM) and 24 hours a day at the Sports Bar in Riu Turquoise. The beach bar of the Riu Turquoise can also be used.

Sports included

At the sister hotel Riu Turquoise: Fitness room in the spa area (for ages 16+), daily group fitness activities, beach volleyball, windsurfing (with equipment for beginners), kayak, stand-up paddle, and a 1x per stay introductory diving lesson in the pool.

Sports for a fee

Diving, advanced windsurfing, kitesurfing (all at the sister hotel Riu Turquoise), and golf opportunities at approx. 19 km "Heritage Golf" and approx. 30 km "Tamarina Golf".

Wellness

"Renova Spa" at Riu Turquoise: Steam bath, whirlpool, and fitness room are accessible free of charge. Beauty salon treatments, massages, and a hairdresser are available for a fee.
