Location

The Chateau St. Cloud is idyllically located in the island's interior, right at the foot of the mountain "Nid d’Aigle". The picturesque beaches are about a 5-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk away. Shops are reachable in just under 10 minutes on foot. The transfer involves a journey of approx. 20 minutes from Mahé airport to the port, then a ferry to La Digue island (approx. 2 hours with a stopover in Praslin), followed by a roughly 10-minute drive from the port to the hotel.

The charming Chateau, a former vanilla plantation, offers a total of 24 rooms spread throughout the property. Facilities include a reception, a small souvenir shop, and a bar. Culinary delights are served in the restaurant. In the tropical garden, the swimming pool with a sun terrace invites you to relax and unwind. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are available free of charge by the pool.

During high tide, the sunbathing and swimming opportunities at the hotel beach are limited.

For your international inbound and outbound flights to/from Mahé, please consider the ferry times for hotel bookings on the neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). If you arrive after 1 PM or depart before 12 PM, a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In case of arrival/departure outside the above-mentioned times due to flight delays, bad weather, or extended waiting times for entry, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay in Mahé for you. If your booked flight times fall outside the above-mentioned periods, please book an overnight stay in Mahé through your travel agent.
