Location

The small, Seychellois-run hotel is located directly on one of Praslin's most beautiful beaches, "Côte D'Or". The hotel is the ideal starting point to explore the beauty of the surrounding nature. The famous beach "Anse Lazio" and the "Vallée de Mai National Park" are nearby. There are some shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Transfer from Mahé airport to the port takes approx. 20 minutes by car, then a ferry to Praslin island (approx. 75 minutes) and finally approx. 15 minutes drive from the port to the hotel.

Facilities

In "Praslin's Green Hotel," the name says it all: the resort blends harmoniously into the natural surroundings. Furthermore, great importance was placed on using environmentally friendly materials during construction, and the majority of the buildings were erected using African mahogany, which gave the hotel its name. The hotel, partially renovated in 2025, offers 10 two-story buildings housing a total of 58 rooms. Amenities include a reception area with seating, a boutique, a small library, and a hairdresser. Dining options include the main restaurant "Les Boucaniers" and the "Starfish" restaurant, both offering international cuisine, grilled dishes, and specialties from Neptune's realm. Cool refreshments are served at 2 bars. The tropical garden area features an infinity pool with a fantastic view of the beach and the "Curieuse Marine National Park," a separate children's pool, and a sun terrace for relaxation and unwinding. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

Double Room

The recently renovated rooms (approx. 36 m²) are decorated in a "Tropical Island Vibes" style and consist of a combined living/sleeping area. They feature a bathroom with a rain shower/WC, bathrobe, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, air conditioning (individually adjustable), safe, desk, coffee/tea maker, kettle, minibar (for a fee), telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, and tiled flooring, as well as a furnished balcony overlooking the garden.

During high tide, the sunbathing and swimming facilities on the hotel beach may be limited.
Please note that an ecological sustainability fee is charged locally. This fee is payable in cash directly to the hotel per person per night and currently ranges from €1.80 to €7.20 (depending on the size of the hotel). Children under 13 years of age are exempt from this regulation.
For your international inbound and return flights to/from Mahé, please observe the ferry times for hotel bookings on the neighboring islands (e.g., Praslin/La Digue). If you arrive after 1:00 PM or depart before 12:00 PM, a transfer to/from Praslin/La Digue cannot be guaranteed. In case of arrival/departure outside the above times due to flight delays, bad weather, or long immigration waiting times, our local agency will arrange an overnight stay in Mahé for you. If your booked flight times fall outside the specified periods, please book an overnight stay in Mahé through your travel agent.
