Location

Directly on the long, beautiful sandy beach of the Tanzanian island of Zanzibar, the Sultan Sands Island Resort & Spa, adorned with hundreds of palm trees, is designed in the style of an Arab palace complex, inviting you to relax and unwind with its oriental atmosphere.
The luxurious beach resort is located on the northeast coast of Zanzibar and is approximately 45-50 minutes from the international airport.
The capital city, Stone Town, is also about 45 km away. Restaurants and bars can be reached in just a 5-minute drive.

The small, cozy hotel has a total of 76 rooms. The holiday resort features a reception hall with a reception area including an internet corner, Wi-Fi (free in public areas), and 2 different restaurants (including the Indian à la carte restaurant "Cinnamon"), a bar, and a pool bar. The outdoor area offers 2 freshwater pools and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are provided free of charge. As of June 2026, the hotel will be awarded 5 stars.

These single-story round huts are located in an elevated position and feature a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, minibar (for a fee), beds with mosquito nets (for the 3rd person, there is a sofa bed), air conditioning and ceiling fan, flat-screen TV, safe, telephone with a terrace (DA).

Double Room Bahari Room

Feature a bathroom with a shower, beds with mosquito nets, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar (for a fee), safe, telephone, a hairdryer, and a large veranda.
Near the 20 Bahari rooms, there is a "Plunge Pool" (small swimming pool) that can be shared. Additionally, the rooms have an ocean view and are located near the beach (DB).
