Location

The "Riu Palace Swahili" hotel is located at the northern tip of Unguja, the main island of the Zanzibar archipelago. It is about a one-hour drive from the airport and the island capital Zanzibar City, whose center is known as Stone Town. The hotel is situated next to the Riu Jambo in an excellent location directly on Nungwi Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. An ATM, pharmacy, hospital, and further shopping facilities are located nearby.

The Adults only hotel, opening in early 2026, features 505 rooms, 2 infinity pools, 1 infinity pool with swim-up bar, sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols by the pool, as well as a sun terrace. For dining, the hotel offers a main restaurant with a terrace, the "Krystal" restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, a steakhouse, and the "Pepe's Food" grill. Bar options include a lounge bar, a lobby bar with terrace, a plaza bar with stage and terrace, the "Capuchino" patisserie, and a pool bar. Additionally, there is a conference room and a boutique.
