Location

The Shalimar Hammamet hotel is located on the south coast of Hammamet Bay, nestled within a 4-hectare park. Just 200 m from the fine sandy beach, it offers a peaceful yet central location with typical Tunisian flair.
The center of Hammamet is about 6 km away, and Yasmine Hammamet marina is only 1 km away. Golf enthusiasts can reach the "Citrus" and "Yasmine" golf courses after approx. 4 km. Monastir International Airport is around 100 km away.

Facilities

The hotel has 214 rooms decorated in an Arab-Andalusian style. For dining, the hotel offers a main restaurant with a wide selection of Mediterranean, Tunisian, and international specialties, as well as themed buffets. The restaurant has a spacious terrace with a direct view of the pool. Another highlight is the Tunisian specialty restaurant, which can be visited once per stay (reservation required).
Several bars are available for refreshments: the bar at reception offers an impressive view of the pool, the pool bar invites you to relax with drinks, and the beach bar (from June to mid-September) serves soft drinks. There is also a Moorish café in the lobby area (for a fee).
The hotel has several pools: a large main pool, a pool with a water slide (from June 1st, weather permitting), and a children's pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge both at the beach and by the pool. Pool and beach towels are available for a deposit.

All double rooms have a terrace or balcony. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning (from June 15th to September 15th), satellite TV (with French, Italian, Russian, German, and local channels), telephone, and tiled floors. The bathroom has either a walk-in shower or a bathtub, a hairdryer, and a separate toilet.
Available at an additional charge for single use (DE) and as a single child (D1K), as well as with a pool view (PD). Also bookable as a bargain room at a special price (SSZ).

Sports for a fee

Various motorized water sports such as parasailing, banana boat, water skiing, and jet skiing are offered in the vicinity of the hotel. Quad biking tours, horse riding excursions, and boat trips are also available. The hotel itself has two American pool tables and other games.

Children's program

The Mini Club is open daily from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 3 PM to 5 PM for children aged 4 to 12 years. An outdoor playground is also available for children. There is a mini disco every evening. Babysitting is offered on request for infants from 3 months to 2 years old (for an additional charge).

Wellness

The 300 m² SPA area offers a variety of relaxation options, including a hammam, three massage rooms, and a sauna. Additionally, guests can enjoy a beauty area with various cosmetic treatments and a hairdresser for their well-being (for a fee).

Entertainment

During the day, a professional animation team provides variety with a range of sports and leisure activities such as water polo, gymnastics, or pétanque. In the evenings, there are entertaining shows and programs, in the summer also in the hotel's own amphitheater (from approximately June, weather permitting).
