Restrictions due to Balinese holiday Nyepi

The "Nyepi Day", also known as the "Day of Silence", is the highest holiday in Bali. During this time (24 hours), strict rules apply that severely restrict tourism. The date is based on the lunar calendar each year and usually falls in March. On the Day of Silence, arrival/departure is not possible, and the airport is also closed.
