Location

The resort is located on the island of Dhigurah in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll and is connected to The Residence Falhumaafushi via a jetty.
Transfer from the airport is by domestic flight (approx. 55 minutes) and speedboat (approx. 7 minutes).

The Residence Dhigurah offers a total of 173 luxuriously appointed villas. Amenities include an open reception area with seating, a boutique, and a souvenir shop. For culinary delights, there are four restaurants: "The Dining Room" serving international cuisine, "Li Bai" offering classic Cantonese dishes, and "Earth Table" with its farm-to-fork concept. Enjoy cool refreshments and exotic cocktails at any of the three bars. The resort also features a café. Directly on the beach, there is a Beach Club with a 42-meter infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. The house reef allows for optimal exploration of the breathtaking underwater world of the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The Sunrise Beach Pool Villa is approx. 150 sqm and features a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes/slippers, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone, safe, minibar (for a fee), Smart TV, DVD player, coffee/tea maker, as well as a furnished terrace and a private pool. All meals are served buffet-style in the main restaurant "The Dining Room". Alternatively, lunch and dinner can also be taken as a set menu in selected restaurants (reservation required). Various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available from 11 am to 11 pm at the respective open bar. Daily minibar refill with soft drinks, juices, and beer. Additionally, enjoy complimentary use of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (one hour per day). Complimentary ironing service (two items per person per stay).

Speedboat: Operation for approx. arrival/departure from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation for approx. arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1-2 stops on seaplane transfers.
If arriving/departing outside the times mentioned above, in case of bad weather or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) and currently mostly domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
