Location

The Ayada Resort is located on the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, on the southern island of Maguhdhuvaa. From there, it is just 30 km to the equator. The island is surrounded by an untouched underwater world, offering perfect conditions for snorkeling and diving on the house reef. The transfer time by domestic flight to Kaadhedhoo Airport is approx. 55 minutes, followed by a further 50 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

Spread across the island, nestled amidst the breathtaking natural landscape, are 122 luxuriously appointed villas. Ayada does not have a reception area, as all guests check in directly at their villas. Amenities include a boutique, a jeweler, a hairdresser, and a souvenir shop. For culinary delights, there are five restaurants offering national and international cuisine, as well as three bars. The main restaurant "Magu" offers daily changing international buffets. "Ocean Breeze" serves modern European dishes and seafood. Located by the infinity pool is the "Zero Degree" restaurant, offering fresh salads and Asian dishes. "Sea Salt" provides an al fresco BBQ dinner twice a week, and at "Mizu," fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes are prepared live. Sushi and sashimi made from local fish are prepared and served at the "Kai" restaurant. Directly over the water is the "Ile de Joie" bar, offering a selection of international wines and various cheeses. In the tropical garden area, you'll find the infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are provided free of charge.

Garden Villa

The Garden Villa is located directly in the tropical garden, offering a perfect retreat. Furthermore, the villa features a shower/WC, bathrobe/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, TV, telephone, and a terrace.

Beach Villa with Pool

With the same amenities as the Garden Villa, featuring a private pool and just a few steps from the beach.

Ocean Villa with Pool

The Ocean Villa is situated on stilts directly over the water, featuring a private infinity pool with the same amenities.

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic Flight: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside the specified times, in case of bad weather, or for long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Malé may be required.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on island location), as well as most domestic flights currently, only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé may be necessary.
