Location

The private island of JA Manafaru (800m x 600m), surrounded by lush vegetation, is located in the north of the Maldives in the Haa-Alifu Atoll. The house reef is only approx. 70 m from the island. The destination airport Male is approx. 320 km away and can be reached in approx. 50 minutes by domestic flight to Hoarafushi or Hanimaadhoo, followed by a 10-minute (Hoarafushi) or 40-minute (Hanimaadhoo) speedboat ride. Seaplane transfer (approx. 70 minutes) can be booked on request for an additional charge.

Facilities

The luxurious resort has a total of 84 villas. In addition to the reception area, the complex offers a boutique, a jeweler, and a hairdresser. Four restaurants cater to your culinary needs. The overwater fusion restaurant "White Orchid" spoils you with modern Asian cuisine, and at the "Ocean Grill" restaurant, you can enjoy grilled specialties. The open main restaurant "Kakuni" offers a variety of buffets, and you can enjoy Italian delicacies at the "Andiamo Bistro" by the pool. Further facilities include the "Infinity Bar", the wine cellar "The Cellar" where special dinners are also offered, the "Horizon Lounge", and a swimming pool. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are provided free of charge.

Beach Villa Pool

The Beach Villas with Pool (approx. 150 m²) are located directly on the beach and feature a combined living and sleeping area, an open bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, separate shower, separate outdoor shower, and toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe/slippers, TV, CD/DVD player, telephone, air conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar (for a fee), wine cooler, tea maker, Nespresso machine, safe, terrace, and a pavilion on the beach with sun loungers, as well as a private garden with its own pool (facing the island interior), sun loungers, and a pavilion with a daybed.

Sunrise Water Villa Pool

The Water Villas (approx. 110 m²) are built on stilts over the sea, feature an enclosed bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub without an outdoor shower, a glass floor in the living area, and a wooden deck outdoors with sun loungers, a traditional Maldivian swing, a private infinity pool, and direct access to the sea.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style. A selection of non-alcoholic beverages are served within the opening hours of the bars (tea/coffee, soft drinks, selection of juices and smoothies, and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks including mocktails.

Sports included

Fitness center, tennis, table tennis, billiards, yoga (by prior appointment), beach volleyball, snorkeling equipment, and windsurfing, stand-up paddling, pedal boat, kayak, and catamaran sailing (with a sailing license, non-motorized water sports one hour per day and villa included).

PADI diving school, deep-sea fishing, sailing, motorized water sports.

Children's program

"Cool Zone Kids Club" for children aged 3-12 and the "Chill Zone Teens Club" for children aged 8-16 (no supervision is provided; parents are responsible for their children). There is a separate children's pool, a play area, a video room, and a quiet room.

Hotel-independent transfer information (please observe the transfer times valid for your hotel in your booking confirmation):
Speedboat: Operation for approx. arrival/departure from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic (domestic flight): Operation approx. for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may involve 1-2 stopovers.
For arrival/departure outside of the above times, in case of bad weather or long waiting times at immigration, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
