Location

The island, approximately 1000m x 200m in size, with lush vegetation and a beautiful white sandy beach, is located on the eastern edge of the Meemu Atoll. The outer reef, a prime diving area, is about 500-600m from the beach; in front of it, you'll find a beautiful lagoon. The transfer from the airport island Hulhule by speedboat takes about 2.5 hours. Transfer by seaplane (approx. 45 minutes) is available at an additional charge. When booking a seaplane, access to the Neeri Lounge in the Seaplane Terminal is included.

Facilities

The island offers ideal conditions for divers, those seeking tranquility, and sunbathers. It features a total of 112 villas, a reception area with seating and an internet corner, a souvenir shop, the main restaurant "Malaafayi" (international and local cuisine), the à la carte restaurant "Alfresco" situated on stilts over the sea, and a bar with a magnificent view of the lagoon where you can enjoy cocktails and snacks. By the beach, there is a swimming pool with a sun terrace; loungers, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge.

Beach Villa Semi Detached

These accommodations match the Beach Villas in terms of amenities and size but are located in semi-detached duplexes, each consisting of two adjacent living units. Therefore, they are not standalone bungalows. The living space is approximately 65 sqm including the outdoor area. (BVZ)

Beach Suite

The Beach Suite (including outdoor area, 178 sqm) comprises two Beach Villas connected by a covered outdoor seating area. (BS2)

Speedboat: Operations for estimated arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operations estimated for departures/arrivals between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operations expected for departures/arrivals between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather, or for longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
