Location

Quietly located on the green outskirts of Golden Sands, this high-quality hotel belonging to the HVD chain is approximately 800 m from the lively promenade with its many restaurants and bars, and from the fine sandy beach. Transfer time from Varna Airport is approx. 40 minutes.

The HVD Viva Club offers its guests a modern and air-conditioned lobby with a reception. Two elevators connect the 8 floors with a total of 260 rooms. The hotel also features a main restaurant, a grill and an Italian à la carte restaurant, and a show stage. The pool area with a separate children's pool, a sun terrace, and a pool bar offers space for relaxation. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the hotel's own beach section (subject to availability). The hotel's own beach section is open from June 1 to September 15 (weather permitting). During this period, the hotel offers a shuttle service (included), and there is a beach bar (approx. 10 AM - 5 PM) and a snack bar (approx. 11 AM - 5 PM) at the beach.

Double Room

The tastefully decorated double rooms (approx. 17 sqm) are equipped with a shower/WC, hairdryer, minibar (daily replenished with mineral water, juice, red and white wine, beer, dessert, chips, and gummy bears included), coffee capsule machine (daily replenished), centrally controlled air conditioning, satellite TV, a safe for rent, and a balcony (D, DI). Also bookable for single occupancy (DE). (Additionally bookable under VARA01 as Single/Child occupancy, D1K).

Superior Double Room

The superior double rooms are equipped like the double rooms, but are slightly more spacious (approx. 27 sqm) and have an additional sofa bed (DSU). (Additionally bookable under VARA01, from Summer 2026 as DZ Deluxe Superior (UD2).

Family Room

The family rooms (approx. 36 sqm) offer a large living/sleeping area with a sofa bed (suitable for 2 children) and have 1 bathroom with shower/WC and a separate WC (DF2).

Super Saver Room

The super saver rooms, with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms, are slightly smaller and located on the first floor facing the park (SSZ).

Apartment without Kitchenette

The apartments without a kitchenette (approx. 35 sqm) consist of two double rooms (2x shower/WC) with an connecting door (A12).

Ultra All Inclusive

Both breakfast and the late riser's breakfast (until approx. 11 AM) offer a rich buffet with a large selection and whole grain products. Lunch and dinner are also served buffet-style. 5 theme nights per week (Bulgarian, Italian, Asian, Balkan cuisine, and Seafood night). Weekly gala dinner. The à la carte restaurants are included once per stay with reservation (for stays of 7 days or more). A snack bar (at the hotel's own beach section) also offers light dishes from approx. 11 AM to 5 PM, as well as coffee/tea, cake, and ice cream. A wide selection of local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, mineral water, coffee/tea, wine (bottled), beer, cocktails, and long drinks are available daily at the lobby bar (approx. 8 AM - 12 AM) and the pool bar (approx. 10 AM - 11 PM). From June 1 to September 15 and weather permitting: Beach bar (10 AM - 5 PM)/Snack bar (11 AM - 5 PM).

Sports included

Water polo, water aerobics, aerobics, table tennis, billiards, darts, bocce, gym, volleyball, and a multi-purpose artificial turf court.

Water sports at the beach offered by private providers.

Children's program

Kids' animation for children aged 4-12, mini disco, playground, children's pool, high chairs, and baby cots. Baby food jars.

Wellness

Relaxation area with sauna and whirlpool. One hour of free use of the sauna or whirlpool per stay is included when booking a minimum of 7 days.

Entertainment

The entertainment team is available 6 days a week for all guests. Occasional daytime entertainment programs as well as live music and evening shows offer varied animation.
