The former royal residence of the Prussian kings offers numerous sights and excursion possibilities. The city's landmark, Sanssouci Palace, as well as the "little Brandenburg Gate", are just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Other worthwhile excursion destinations include the Dutch Quarter, the Alexandrovka colony, the Babelsberg film studios, or the numerous castles in the surrounding area. The Barberini Museum has been attracting more and more art lovers to Potsdam since its opening. Pictures by Monet, Van Gogh, and many others can be admired.
