Location

Restored to its historic design, the Elbresidenz, known as the Pearl of Saxon Switzerland, is located directly on the Elbe river, surrounded by the beautiful and unique Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The market square of Bad Schandau is within walking distance. Directly at the hotel, there is a landing stage for the "Saxon Steamship Company," an ideal starting point for a romantic journey on the Elbe. Other excursion destinations are nearby, such as the Botanical Garden and the Saxon Switzerland National Park Centre. Those who wish to explore the surroundings by bicycle can use the Elbe Cycle Path, which runs directly past the hotel. The train station is approximately 1.8 km away, and the nearest airport is in Dresden (approx. 60 km away).

The bright and stylishly furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU, 26-30 sqm) with high-quality oak parquet flooring create a pleasant, feel-good atmosphere and feature a bathroom with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, rental bathrobe and slippers for your stay, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe, minibar (1 bottle of mineral water free of charge), free Wi-Fi, and a charming view of the inner courtyard or the historic market square.

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Rooms Deluxe (DD2, approx. 26-30 sqm) are slightly larger than the Double Rooms Superior, with otherwise identical amenities, and additionally feature a desk with writing utensils and a balcony with seating.
