For hikers, nature lovers, and active vacationers – Hotel Kammweg is the ideal starting point for your holiday in the Thuringian Forest. The hotel is located directly on the famous Rennsteig hiking paradise, amidst a magnificent landscape. The 170 km long historic border path is the oldest and one of the most popular long-distance hiking trails in Germany. This promises adventure, but also relaxation! The panoramic view from the hotel, especially from our restaurant Reuscheltal, will delight you.

The hotel has 89 rooms and apartments with modern comforts, spread over 5 floors with an elevator, and offers its guests an elevator, the "Reuscheltal" restaurant, the "Mondscheinwiese" bar, a small wellness area with a swimming pool and a steam bath.

Double room

The double rooms (DA, approx. 24 m²) have a shower/WC, hairdryer, cable TV, and telephone. The rooms offer views of the town.

Family room

The family rooms (DF2, approx. 40 m²) have a shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, TV incl. Sky, telephone. The family rooms consist of 2 double rooms located directly next to each other or opposite each other, without an connecting door.

Note:
Between August 31st and September 16th, 2022, a second sauna will be installed, which may lead to short-term closures of the existing sauna during this period.
The swimming pool area is not affected.
The work should be completed by September 16th, 2022, after which 2 saunas will be available on-site.
