Location

The Hotel "Petousis Hotel & Suites" is located in Ammoudara, approx. 5 km from Heraklion (Rethymnon approx. 70 km, Hersonissos approx. 30 km). The nearest beach, a sandy beach, is approx. 150 m from the hotel. The airport (HER) is approx. 14 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, last renovated in 2024, is a 4-star property comprising a main building and two annexes, offering a total of 99 rooms. It features a 24-hour reception, lobby with "Vegera" bar, luggage storage, a lift, air conditioning, and parking facilities. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Dining options include the air-conditioned main restaurant "Lithari", the nearby à la carte restaurant "Petousis", the "Vegera" lobby bar, and the "Coral" pool/snackbar. Two swimming pools with sunbathing areas invite guests to relax. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided free of charge by the pools. Sunshades and sunbeds are available for a fee on the beach.

Executive Junior Suite Sharing Pool

The Executive Junior Suites Sharing Pool, with the same amenities as the Junior Suites, feature a visually separated living area. Guests also benefit from a second TV in the room, bathrobes, slippers, turndown service (on request), and a bottle of wine as a welcome drink. Two sun loungers are provided on the terrace (J2).

Suite

The Suite features a combined living/sleeping area with two sofa beds and a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single beds, separated by a sliding door. Swim Up Suite

These rooms offer the highest level of luxury and privacy. With the same amenities and features as the Suites, the Swim-Up Suites have two separate rooms, each with a combined living/sleeping area. The two rooms share a private pool. Two sun loungers are provided on each terrace. Bookable on request (2SU).
The swim-up pool is not supervised. Please exercise caution when using this area and supervise your children closely.

Breakfast/Half Board

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:00 AM) is served buffet-style in the main restaurant. Dinner (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) is also provided as a buffet. Dinner can be enjoyed at the à la carte restaurant for an additional charge.

Resilience Fee Information

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable locally by the guest, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
