Location

The brand-new, popular Paralos Kosta Alímia resort, a 5-star property, welcomes guests aged 13 and over (adults friendly). It is located in the Anissaras holiday area, directly on a 150m long and approx. 5000m² large beach, separated from the hotel only by a rarely used, kilometer-long promenade (swimming shoes recommended).
Nearby the hotel, you will find a few mini-markets, bars, and tavernas. The lively tourist center of Hersonissos, with its numerous shops, bars, and restaurants, is only 4 km to the east. The smaller and quieter village of Analipsi can be reached easily in a 15-minute walk to the west. The capital Heraklion is about 22 km away and accessible by local bus.
Various sights such as the Palace of Knossos, the Palace of Malia, the Lasithi Plateau, or the beautiful Mirabello Bay with the famous Spinalonga island can also be explored.

The well-known establishment (formerly Paralos Kosta Mare) opened its doors in 1988 and has become one of the most renowned and popular hotels in Crete over more than 30 years. Since summer 2024, the property belongs to the PURE LUXE category of Paralos Hospitality Hotels. Following extensive renovations, which began in previous years and were completed by summer 2024, the Paralos Kosta Alímia now shines with a new design.
The hotel features 152 rooms, a reception area with a 24-hour reception and free high-speed Wi-Fi, a lounge with a terrace and elevator, a lobby bar with a terrace, and 5 à la carte restaurants. In the beautifully landscaped complex, in addition to a sunbathing lawn with high-quality loungers featuring comfortable cushions and umbrellas, there are a total of 12 pools (including shared pools and private pools). A heated indoor pool in the spa area and two main pools each offer an integrated whirlpool. The impressive infinity pool is equipped with water loungers and a state-of-the-art underwater music system, providing a unique swimming experience. Additionally, there are two new shared pools and seven private pools. The pool bars boast a new design as well as modern and luxurious furnishings.
At the beach, in addition to high-quality loungers with comfortable cushions and umbrellas, elevated seating cushions and gazebos (Bali beds) are also included. Furthermore, there is a beach and pool service that delivers drinks directly to your lounger. Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, is tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room.
