Location

The Anissa Beach Hotel, popular with both families and couples, is ideally located in Anissaras, just separated from the long sandy/pebble beach by a promenade. The lively town of Hersonissos with its numerous restaurants, bars, and entertainment and shopping facilities is only about 4 km away. A public bus connection is available approximately 800 m away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is about 23 km.

The extensive, beautifully designed hotel complex has a total of 315 rooms, divided between the main building and the two-story annex building "Knossos," located in the garden. The main building houses a lobby with a 24-hour reception, lobby bar, Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex), the main restaurant "La Pergola," a souvenir shop, a boutique, a jeweler, and a hairdresser. In the extensive, blooming garden area that stretches to the beach, you will find the mini-market, the buffet restaurant "La Veranda" (lunch and coffee/tea in the afternoon), the Greek taverna "Elia," an Italian à la carte restaurant "Peccato Divino," the "Steak Corner" restaurant, a pizza station, and a crêperie. A small kafenion invites you to linger. Around the freshwater swimming pool with a separate children's pool and pool bar, a sun terrace and plenty of loungers under palm trees on the surrounding lawns invite you to relax. Near the sea, you can gather at the Streetbar, and the adjacent wine bar is the ideal place for romantic evenings with sunset views. A spa area with an indoor pool completes the offerings. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool, in the garden area, and on the beach.

Double Room Superior

The rooms, renovated in summer 2025, feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, a safe (rental fee), coffee/tea making facilities, minibar including daily refills (soft drinks, still mineral water, beer), a welcome gift, and a farewell gift, as well as a balcony or terrace (DSU). Optionally available with sea view for an extra charge (DMU) or for single occupancy (DSE/DEA).

Comfort Double Room Sup. Garden View

With the same amenities as the Double Room Superior, these rooms feature a sofa bed, bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower, are more spacious, and were also renovated in summer 2025 (2CD/ACD). Optionally available with sea view for an extra charge (CM).
Also optionally available for single occupancy (1CD).

Super Saver Room

These rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, a safe (rental fee), and a mini-fridge, as well as a balcony or terrace (SSZ).

Suite

The Garden View Suites are a Schauinsland-Reisen original and have been newly renovated for Summer 2026. They feature the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, but with a large sleeping area for four people (open plan) and a bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower, plus a balcony (S2).
Optionally, the suites can also be booked with garden view (SA) or sea view (S2M), each with a separate bedroom. These were renovated in 2025.

Suite Private Pool

These suites offer the same amenities as the other suites and include a private pool (heated for a fee). They were also renovated in summer 2025 (SP2, bookable from 6 years old).
The private pool is not supervised. Please pay special attention to your children when using this area and act accordingly.

Meals

Half Board

All meals are served buffet-style.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the main restaurant "La Pergola".
Alternatively, dinner can be enjoyed once a week at the taverna "Elia", the à la carte restaurant "Peccato Divino", or the "Steak Corner".
Wearing an identification bracelet is mandatory throughout your stay.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

American breakfast buffet (7:30 AM - 10 AM) at the main restaurant "La Pergola". From 10 AM to 10:30 AM, a continental late riser's breakfast is offered. Early continental breakfast is available from 5 AM to 7 AM (requires advance booking the previous day).
Lunch is served at "La Veranda" (12:30 PM - 3 PM).
Dinner is served at the main restaurant "La Pergola" (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM). Alternatively, dinner can be enjoyed à la carte at the taverna "Elia" (drinks included), the Italian restaurant "Peccato Divino", or the "Steak Corner" (drinks not included in the latter two). Reservations are required for à la carte dining, and each is available once per week.
At the crêperie, crêpes, waffles, hot dogs, and ice cream are available free of charge from 10 AM to 6 PM. Freshly baked pizza is also offered from 10 AM to 6 PM at the pizzeria. Traditional Greek drinks and mezedes are served at the kafenion, also from 10 AM to 6 PM. From 4 PM to 5 PM, there is a coffee/tea time at the restaurant "La Veranda" with cakes and pastries.
Local and selected international non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are served from 9 AM to 11 PM at the respective open bar.

Ultra All Inclusive

In addition to the All Inclusive services, the following amenities are offered: Dinner can be enjoyed unlimited times at the taverna "Elia," the à la carte restaurant "Peccato Divino," or the Steak Corner (reservations required the day before). Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast, a fish menu (once per stay), a special Ultra AI drinks menu with additional selected international premium alcoholic beverages. The Ultra AI service is available until midnight.

Sports included

Tennis (included for AI and Ultra AI guests), mini-basketball/football court, beach volleyball, fitness room (ages 16+), pedal boats, canoes (reservation required), table tennis, mini-golf, giant chess.

Billiards, tennis lessons. Water sports activities on the beach offered by local providers.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018 onwards, the Greek government has implemented a climate resilience levy, which is payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day per room starting from January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season (April 1 - October 31):
