Location

The hotel is separated from the sandy beach only by a road with little traffic and is located on the outskirts of Hersonissos. Heraklion Airport is approx. 25 km away.

The Star Beach Village hotel has a total of 416 rooms spread across 3 floors and 12 annex buildings. It offers a reception hall, 24-hour reception, lobby bar, TV lounge, a main restaurant, a Cretan taverna, and an Asian restaurant. The well-maintained outdoor area includes a garden, a swimming pool complex with 8 pools (9 AM-8 PM), a separate children's pool with 6 water slides (11 AM-6 PM), a garden, a sun terrace, a beach snack bar, 2 further beach bars, and a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach.
Access to the "Star Beach Water Park" is free for Star Beach Village hotel guests, with the exception of the VIP area. Special signage directs guests to all all-inclusive bars and restaurants in the park, which can be used, including the swimming pools, "lazy rivers," and slides. The VIP zone occupies an area of approximately one hectare within the hotel's total area of approximately 28 hectares. An entrance ticket (for a fee) is available for the VIP zone (please see hotel services section) for all hotel guests.

Accommodation

Double Room Type A

The rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), safe, LCD satellite TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee and tea making facilities, and a balcony or terrace. They are located in the annex building (approx. 150 m away, on the opposite side of the street, DA).
Also available for single occupancy in the main building (DE).

Double Room with Side Sea View

These rooms have the same amenities as Type A double rooms but are located in the main building (DMS). Also available as double rooms with sea view (DM/MBB).

Family Room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms have a separate bedroom (DF2). Also available as Comfort Double Rooms for a maximum of 2 people (2CD).

Family Room Superior

These rooms have the same amenities as the family rooms but are more spacious (F2U).

Suite

The suites have the same amenities as the double rooms and consist of one room, but also offer an extra bed and a refrigerator (water and soft drinks included upon arrival) as well as bathrobes and slippers (S2).

Breakfast from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM as a buffet with show cooking in the main restaurant, or from 8 AM to 10 AM in the Cretan taverna.
Lunch from 1 PM to 2:30 PM as a buffet in the main restaurant or from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the Cretan taverna.
Snacks such as pizza, fries, sandwiches, and ice cream are available during the day, along with coffee/tea and pastries at various bars (10 AM-6:30 PM).
Dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM as a buffet with show cooking in the main restaurant or in the Asian restaurant. Themed evenings are held in the main restaurant in the evening (Italian, Greek, Mediterranean, Indian, Mexican, European, Cretan).
Local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, juices, coffee, cocoa, tea, beer, and wine are included from 10 AM to midnight at the open bar.

Note regarding climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by guests locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room starting from January 1, 2025.
For stays during high season April 1 - October 31:
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euros
National category 3 stars: 5 Euros
National category 4 stars: 10 Euros
National category 5 stars: 15 Euros
For stays during low season November 1 - March 31:
