Location

The area around Hersonissos is one of the most developed tourist areas in Crete and offers everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Hersonisos is an area of significant natural and cultural wealth: beautiful nature, remarkable monuments, museums, and picturesque villages – Hersonissos is definitely worth a visit. The accommodation is located directly on Glaros Beach, a sand/pebble beach. The town of Malia is approximately 10 km away, and Heraklion can be reached in approximately 27 km. For hotel guests who like to explore the nearest towns and regions by bus, a bus stop is located approximately 100 m away. The nearest airport (HER) is approximately 27 km away.

Facilities

The beach hotel, last completely renovated in 2022, has 6 floors and 164 rooms spread across a main building and a separate building. The staff at the reception desk are happy to assist guests with any questions or requests. The hotel has a lobby with a bar, a mini-market, and free parking for hotel guests. For culinary well-being, there are 3 restaurants, and the two bars in the hotel always welcome a visit. The hotel's Wi-Fi network can be used for a fee.

Double room

These rooms feature a shower, TV, air conditioning, safe (deposit required), telephone, minibar, hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace (D).
Also available for single use (DE), with garden view (2GD), or with side sea view (DMS).

Super Saver room

Unfortunately, no specific requests regarding amenities and location can be accommodated for these rooms. The allocation is solely at the discretion of the local hotelier (SSZ).

Superior side sea view

The rooms are decorated in earthy tones and furnished with contemporary furniture. Amenities include a double bed and a comfortable sofa, a marble bathroom with a comfortable bathtub, and hotel cosmetics (shower gel, shampoo). Further amenities include a plasma TV, a small refrigerator, and a hairdryer (D2S). Available from Summer 2026 also in the annex building (DSN).

Single room

With otherwise similar amenities to double rooms, these are smaller (E).

Information regarding climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which is payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room.
For stays during high season (April 1 - October 31):
National category 1-2 stars: 2 Euro
National category 3 stars: 5 Euro
National category 4 stars: 10 Euro
National category 5 stars: 15 Euro
For stays during low season (November 1 - March 31):
