Location

Located directly on the kilometer-long sandy beach, which has been awarded the Blue Flag. The resort is built on a large, natural area. The fishing village of Georgioupolis is approx. 1 km away. The well-known Kournas Lake is the only natural freshwater lake on the Greek island of Crete and can be reached as an excursion destination in approx. 6 km. The entire hotel complex is situated in an area characterized by natural beauty, surrounded by olive and avocado trees. Furthermore, the hotel features a long private sandy beach with a picturesque view of the sea and the Lefka Ori (the so-called White Mountains), as well as carefully landscaped gardens and swimming pools. Chania Airport is about 42 km away, Heraklion approx. 100 km.

The spacious complex with 450 rooms, divided into 2 areas connected by an underpass, was completely renovated in 2021. One of the areas is located in the lower part of the complex directly on the sandy beach. The main building houses the reception (24h) with a spacious lobby lounge, main restaurant with roof terrace, Greek themed restaurant with an Italian corner, bar with a large terrace, billiard room, bridge room, conference rooms, hairdresser, jeweler, mini-market, and an indoor pool (heated, for the pre- and post-season) and a spa area. In the adjacent building, near the beach, there is an Asian restaurant (June-September), a beach restaurant, and a beach bar. Outdoors, there is an open-air cinema, 4 freshwater swimming pools with sun terraces and lawns, and a children's pool with slides (for children up to 8 years old). Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are included by the pools and on the beach.

The Bungalow Superior rooms are renovated and feature a bathroom with bath/WC or shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), refrigerator, minibar (on request, for a fee), safe (included), kettle with cups for tea/coffee preparation, and a furnished balcony or terrace with garden view (2BU/BUA).
Optionally available with pool view (X2B/BPI/BUA) or for single occupancy with garden view (1BU).

Bungalow Beach-/Garden Side

The bungalows have the same amenities as the Bungalow Superior rooms, with garden views and are located in the lower part of the complex near the beach (E2L). Optionally available in the lower part of the complex with sea view (B2M) or for single occupancy with sea view (B1M).

Bungalow Beachfront

The Bungalow Beachfront rooms have the same amenities as the Bungalow Superior rooms and are located in the first row to the beach (BF2).

Family Junior Suite 2 Bedrooms

The Family Junior Suites have the same amenities as the Bungalow Superior rooms and consist of a bathroom or shower/WC and two bedrooms accessible via a connecting door (located in the upper part of the complex, FJ2).

Suite Deluxe Pool View

The spacious suites are located in the upper part of the complex, consist of a bedroom, a separate living/sleeping room with a double sofa bed or two single beds, and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), refrigerator, minibar (for a fee), safe (included), kettle with cups for tea/coffee preparation, and a furnished balcony or terrace with pool view (S2).

Meals

Half Board

Rich breakfast buffet in the main restaurant and also in the beach restaurant Gialos (May-October). Dinner also as a buffet in the main restaurant Kronos with show cooking. Optionally also available in the Greek themed restaurant Ariadne and beach restaurant "Gialos" with theme nights (except Wednesday and Saturday).
Appropriate attire is requested. Gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers for dinner.
Gluten-free products available. Food is marked accordingly.
Vegan and vegetarian dishes are also available.

Breakfast (7 AM - 11 AM) and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) buffet with show cooking in the main restaurant "Kronos".
Breakfast also optionally available from 8 AM - 10:30 AM in the beach restaurant "Gialos" as a buffet.
Early bird breakfast from 5 AM - 7 AM and lunch buffet (12:30 PM - 3:30 PM) in the "Ariadni" restaurant.
Dinner also optionally available in the Greek restaurant "Ariadni" (6:30 PM - 10:30 PM) and in the beach restaurant "Gialos" (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) (5 days a week, reservation required) as a buffet or in the Asian à la carte restaurant "Almyra" (included once a week, reservation required).
Snacks, fruit, yogurt, and ice cream are served from 11 AM to 5 PM in the "Ariadni" restaurant.
Local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic (branded) drinks, such as water, soft drinks, juices, tea, draft beer, house wine, cocktails, various coffee specialties, and spirits are included from 10 AM to midnight in the respective open bars.

Sports included

Table tennis and fitness room. Soft animation with beach games and tournaments, basketball, fitness classes, yoga, water aerobics, football, darts, boccia, and beach volleyball.

2 artificial turf tennis courts (floodlit) and 1 clay tennis court, padel tennis, bicycle rental, horse riding, billiards, and water sports (local providers).

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room starting from January 1, 2025.
