Location

The 5-star Pilot Amphora Hotel welcomes guests aged 16 and over and is located in the beautiful and popular resort of Georgioupolis. Taverns and restaurants are within walking distance. The sandy beach of Georgioupolis is only approx. 400 m from the hotel. The distance to Chania Airport is approx. 47 km and to Heraklion Airport approx. 104 km.

Facilities

The modern Pilot Amphora Hotel has a total of 30 rooms, a 24-hour reception, a restaurant, and a lovely lounge bar by the freshwater swimming pool. The outdoor area is equipped with loungers and parasols, which can be used free of charge. At Georgioupolis beach, loungers and parasols are available for a fee, and at the sister hotel Pilot Beach, they are available free of charge. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the complex.

Amphora Suite with private pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these suites feature a separate living/sleeping area with a sliding door and a private pool on the terrace (SP2).

Destination information Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
