Location

The Arina Beach Hotel is beautifully situated on the Blue Flag award-winning beach in Kokkini Chani and is known for its good food and spacious accommodation and entertainment facilities. The complex is set within a beautiful 10-hectare garden landscape with lush vegetation, making it the ideal choice for families and couples.
The town of Gouves is approximately 1 km away, and Heraklion Airport is approximately 10 km from the hotel. A bus stop is located near the hotel.

Facilities

The hotel, with excellent service, was completely renovated in 2020/2021. It has 313 rooms spread across the main building and several annex buildings. There is also an annex building across the street (about 70 m from the main building), which has its own pool and is only bookable for guests aged 16 and over. Hotel amenities include a 24-hour reception, lobby, elevator, Wi-Fi (included throughout the complex), a main restaurant, Asia fusion restaurant "Sunset", à la carte restaurant "Avra", bars, sauna, heated indoor pool, souvenir shop, and a mini-market. The well-maintained outdoor area features a saltwater swimming pool, sun terrace, pool/snack bar, and beach bar. Since April 2020, the hotel also boasts a water park with various slides. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach.

Accommodation

Double Room Pool View Annex

The Double Rooms with Pool View are located in the annex building across the street. The 3-story building contains 32 modern rooms overlooking the pool belonging to the annex. All facilities of the main building can be used. The rooms, designed for 2 people, have a double bed, shower/WC, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), LCD satellite TV, telephone, safe (included), mini-fridge (daily refill of water and soft drinks included), coffee/tea station, espresso machine, and a furnished balcony with pool view (DA, bookable from 16 years old).

Single Room

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms, these rooms can be located in the main building, an annex building, or the annex building across the street and offer garden/land view (DE).

Double Room Sea View

The rooms are located in the main building or annex buildings, close to the main building, and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, centrally controlled air conditioning (included), a double bed or two single beds, Wi-Fi (included), coffee/tea station, espresso machine, LCD TV, telephone, safe, mini-fridge (daily refill of water and soft drinks included), and a furnished balcony or terrace with sea view (DM/DMI/DMA).
A sofa bed is available for a 3rd person.

Double Room Superior Sea View

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms Sea View, these rooms are located in the annex buildings, close to the main building, and feature a double bed and a sofa bed (DMU/MSA).

Double Room Penthouse Sea View

These rooms are located in the main building, on the 4th and 5th floors, and offer breathtaking sea views. They feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, bath towels, centrally controlled air conditioning, safe, telephone, flatscreen satellite TV, mini-fridge (daily refill with water and soft drinks), espresso machine, and a balcony with sea view (PM2/DHI/PMO).
A sofa bed is available for a 3rd person.

Bungalow Private Pool Beachfront

The bungalows with private pool are located on the first line directly on the beach. They offer a relaxing and romantic retreat with beautiful sea views. They feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, bath towels, bathroom amenities, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, telephone, mini-fridge (daily refill with soft drinks and water), espresso machine, and a terrace (2PX).
A sofa bed is available for a 3rd person.
The private pool is not supervised. Please pay special attention to your children when using this area and behave with caution.

Family Room Sea View

The slightly more spacious family rooms are located in the main building or annex buildings and feature a double bed and full-sized beds for other occupants, shower/WC, hairdryer, bathroom amenities, centrally controlled air conditioning, flatscreen satellite TV, safe, telephone, mini-fridge (daily refill with water and soft drinks), microwave, coffee/tea maker, espresso machine, a separate sleeping area with a sliding door, and a balcony or terrace with sea view (F2M).
Available as Family Room Sea View Type A with an additional sleeping option and slightly more spacious (FA2) or as Family Room Sea View Type B in an open-plan style (FMB, without sliding door) located in the annex buildings close to the main building.

Maisonette Private Pool

Note for climate resilience contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from January 1, 2025.
