Location

The popular Knossos Beach Bungalow and Suites hotel is located directly on the fine sandy beach. The town of Kokkini Hani with its shopping and entertainment facilities is about 400m away. A local bus connection is in the immediate vicinity.

Facilities

The hotel complex, built in Cretan style, has a total of 162 rooms, spread across a main building and several bungalow buildings, as well as an annex building on the opposite side of the street. The hotel offers a lobby with reception and seating area, internet corner (for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), main restaurant, 2 à la carte restaurants, and a lobby bar. The new spa area is available to guests with a wide selection of massages and treatments (for a fee). In the outdoor area, there are three swimming pools and a pool/snack bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach. A beach bar is also available.

Double Room

Equipped with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating (included), Wi-Fi (included), telephone, safe, satellite TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine (daily refill included), and a balcony or terrace. Located in the main building (D). Alternatively, can be booked as type A in the adjacent building "Knossos Boutique" opposite the main building (approx. 50 m away) (DA).

Bungalow Waterfront

Equipped with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating (included), Wi-Fi, telephone, safe, satellite TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine (daily refill included), and a terrace. Located directly by the sea (BW2).

Comfort Double Room

The Comfort Double Rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms, are located in the annex building across the street, and consist of a living/sleeping area with a single and a sofa bed, and a separate bedroom with a double bed (2CD).

Suite

The spacious suites, with the same amenities as the bungalows, feature higher-quality furnishings with large wardrobes, full-length mirrors, electronic safe, balcony doors with double-glazed safety glass with "Beach Cabana", and consist of a spacious, combined living/sleeping area (S2). Can also be booked with a side (2SS) or direct sea view (S2M).

Suite Waterfront

Equipped with the same amenities as the suites, but located directly on the sea (2SW, without "Beach Cabana").

In addition to the same amenities as the suites, these feature sunshades and loungers on the balcony and are located directly by the sea (2WS).

For stays of 5 nights or more, guests have the option to enjoy dinner once per stay at the à la carte restaurant "Swell" or "Si La" (menu selection, reservation required).

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10 AM), with an additional American breakfast buffet/Continental breakfast (10 AM - 10:30 AM). Lunch (12:30 PM - 2:30 PM) and dinner (7 PM - 9:30 PM) served in buffet style. Drinks and snacks at the pool/snack bar are included from 10 AM to 6 PM, and tea and coffee with cakes or sweets from 4 PM to 5 PM. Locally produced wines, beer, ouzo, gin, vodka, rum, brandy, other local and international alcoholic beverages, coffee/tea, and soft drinks are included from 10 AM to 11 PM.

Note for Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from 01/01/2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience contribution, which must be paid by the guest on site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01/01/2025.
