Location

The Selini Suites & Waterpark is a modern hotel complex in the traditional coastal village of Rapaniana, in the west of the island.
Only approx. 300 m from the sand/pebble beach and with a variety of shops and entertainment options in the immediate vicinity, it is ideal for those who want to spend a special holiday in a friendly and luxurious environment. Chania Airport is approx. 35 km away.

Facilities

The family-friendly 4-star hotel complex is a modern hotel complex with 168 rooms, spread across several buildings, in elegant Cretan architecture overlooking the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea and the coastal village of Rapaniana in Chania. Partially renovated recently, the complex is one of the best family hotels in the area and offers a variety of different accommodation options.
The main building houses a spacious lobby area with a 24-hour reception, elevator, satellite TV corner and free Wi-Fi, the main bar and a buffet restaurant with an outdoor area offering a variety of traditional delights. The well-maintained outdoor area features 3 swimming pools with free sun loungers and umbrellas, a pool bar, and a water park with various slides (open 6 days a week, 150 meters from the hotel). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the beach for a fee.

The double rooms with garden or pool view (D) are equipped with a double bed or two single beds and feature a flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, individually controlled air conditioning, mini-fridge, bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer, as well as a furnished balcony or terrace with garden or pool view.
Also available with sea view (DM/DMI), for single use (DE), or as a super-saver room (SSZ).

Superior double room with pool view

The Superior double rooms with pool view (DSP) have, apart from the same amenities as the double rooms with garden or pool view, two additional sofa beds which can accommodate up to 2 children.
Also available with sea view (DMU).

The family rooms with sea or pool view (2RF) feature a combined living/sleeping area with two sofa beds for up to 2 children, flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, individually controlled air conditioning, mini-fridge, a separate bedroom with a double bed or two single beds, a bathroom with shower/toilet and hairdryer, and a furnished balcony or terrace with sea or pool view.

Luxury Junior Suite with pool view

The luxury junior suites with pool view (J2P) are equipped with a double bed or two single beds and a sofa bed that can accommodate up to 2 children. They feature a flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, individually controlled air conditioning, mini-fridge, a bathroom with a walk-in shower/toilet and hairdryer, and a furnished balcony or terrace with pool view.

Luxury Maisonette with side sea view

The luxury maisonette rooms with side sea view (2SM), located in the three-story annex building, are spread over two levels on the 2nd and 3rd floors, connected by stairs. The lower floor features a combined living/sleeping area with one or two sofa beds for up to 2 children, flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, safe, individually controlled air conditioning, mini-fridge, and a bathroom with shower/toilet, as well as a small balcony. The upper floor has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower/toilet, and a large balcony with a side sea view and a view of the pool.

Junior Suite with private pool

The junior suites with private pool (ZJP) have, apart from the same amenities as the luxury junior suites with pool view, a private pool.
The private pool is not supervised. Please therefore pay particular attention to your children when using this area and behave prudently.

American breakfast buffet from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch buffet from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner buffet from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM in the main restaurant, as well as light snacks such as sandwiches, salad bar, and pizza from 11 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 5 PM, and ice cream from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM at the pool bar. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (soft drinks, fruit juices, draft beer, house wine, Ouzo, Raki, Rum, Vodka, Whiskey, Tequila, Brandy, Liqueur, and selected cocktails) are included from 10:30 AM to midnight at the respective open bar.

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day and room from January 1, 2025.
