The brand-new 4-star Pyria Hotel, opened in 2024, is situated in a quiet hillside location in the picturesque village of Piskopiano. The small complex, ideal for those seeking tranquility, is approximately 1.9 km from the nearest sandy/pebble beach. Heraklion city center is about 25 km away, and Heraklion International Airport is approximately 23 km from the hotel.

The partially newly built and partially completely renovated adults-friendly hotel (bookable for ages 14 and up) offers a total of 56 rooms designed in a contemporary style, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a main restaurant (Cretan, Greek, Mediterranean, and international cuisine) with a terrace, a lobby bar, and a pool/snackbar. The outdoor area features a lovely sun terrace, a garden with two freshwater swimming pools, and a heated whirlpool (open 9 AM - 6 PM daily). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool.

The modernly furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, Wi-Fi (included), smart TV, individually adjustable air conditioning (included), a rental safe, mini-fridge, kettle, coffee/tea making facilities (included), iron, ironing board, and a balcony or terrace with pool or garden view (D).
Also available as a super-saver room (without balcony/terrace, SSZ) or for single occupancy (DE) with the same amenities.

These high-quality suites are open-plan, combining a living area and bedroom, and feature a sea view (S2M) with the same amenities as the double rooms.
Optionally available with garden view (SA).

Continental early bird breakfast (5 AM - 7:30 AM) and late breakfast (10 AM - 10:45 AM), both available upon request on-site, American breakfast buffet (7:30 AM - 10 AM), and dinner (7 PM - 9:30 PM) served as a buffet (salads and desserts) and à la carte (main course).
Vegetarian dishes and special dietary needs are available on-site (please register at the reception).
Appropriate attire (smart casual) is requested for dinner.

Note on Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
For stays during high season (April 1 - October 31):
