Location

The popular hotel on the outskirts of Matala is only approx. 300 m from the fine pebble beach. Its location in Matala is ideal for historical excursions and exploring famous archaeological sites such as the Palace of Phaistos. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approx. 55 km.

The hotel comprises 80 rooms spread across a main and an annexe building. The main building houses the reception (24h) with lobby, library, lift, lounge, bar, and restaurant, as well as Wi-Fi (included). The garden features a freshwater swimming pool, pool/snackbar, and children's playground. The annexe building contains the family rooms and double rooms. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pools and available for a fee at the beach through local providers.

Double Room Plus

The renovated rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, individually regulated air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), safe (included), satellite TV, coffee/tea maker, refrigerator, and balcony or terrace (D). Also available as a double room for single use (DE). Also bookable as type A (DA).

Triple Superior

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (TDS).

These rooms have the same amenities as the double superior rooms but are more spacious and offer an additional sleeping facility (F2U).

Superior Suite 2 Bedrooms

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms plus and consist of two separate bedrooms (2ZS).

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room from 01.01.2025.
