Located directly on the coastal road of the village of Plakias, just approx. 20 m from the sandy beach, with a magnificent view of Plakias Bay and the Libyan Sea.
Various shopping and entertainment facilities are within walking distance. A bus stop is located approx. 100 m away. Chania Airport is approx. 97 km away and Heraklion approx. 120 km away.

The Alianthos Beach Hotel in Plakias is a small, family-run hotel with 50 rooms spread across two-story buildings. The lobby area resembles a large living room and features a reception (7 AM - 12 AM) with a safe (for a fee), free Wi-Fi, an internet corner, satellite TV, and an elevator. A traditional Cretan-style restaurant with a breathtaking view of the sandy beach and Plakias Bay, as well as a beach bar, complete the charm of this family-run hotel complex.
Sun loungers and umbrellas are available on the beach for a fee.

Information regarding Climate Resilience Contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day per room from January 1, 2025.
