Location

The modern Lumo Boutique Suites hotel is located in the tranquil village of Plakais, in the south of Crete. The public beach is about 50m away, the village center is 300m away, and the first taverns and a mini-market are in the vicinity of the hotel. A bus stop is 350m away. Chania Airport is approx. 95 km and Heraklion approx. 114 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, newly built for Summer 2025, has a main building with 10 rooms spread over 3 floors. The reception is staffed from 8 am to 12 pm. On the roof terrace with a magnificent view over the village to the sea, there is a pool with a sun deck and a rooftop bar. Sun loungers by the pool can be used free of charge.

Junior Suite Outdoor Jacuzzi

The spacious junior suites have a shower/WC, toiletries, hairdryer, air conditioning, fan, safe, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, mini-fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, and a balcony with a private jacuzzi (JJW).

Superior Suite

With the same amenities as the junior suites, the superior suites are more spacious and additionally feature a sofa bed (SU2, without jacuzzi).

1 Bedroom Suite

With the same amenities as the superior suite, these suites offer a separate bedroom with 2 sofa beds (S2).

Breakfast is served in the room (8-10 am).

Hotel Service

Room cleaning 5 times a week, towel change twice a week, and bed linen change twice a week.
Pool towels are available for a fee.

Information regarding climate resilience levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from €0.50 to €15 per day and room.
For stays in high season (April 1 - October 31):
