Location

The friendly hotel complex belongs to the "Minos Collection" and is centrally located on the outskirts of Rethymnon town. The sandy/pebble beach is approximately 150 m away. Various shopping and entertainment facilities are about 100 m away, and the old town can be reached in 15-20 minutes on foot. The nearest bus stop is about 30 m away, Heraklion Airport is about 80 km away, and Chania Airport is about 72 km away.

Facilities

The well-maintained Hotel Minos with attentive, well-coordinated service has a total of 174 rooms, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi, an air-conditioned restaurant, and a bar with a terrace. The outdoor area features two freshwater swimming pools, one of which is an adults-only pool, a children's pool, sun terraces, and a pool/snackbar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and available at the beach for a fee. Beach/pool towels are available for a deposit.

Double Room

Equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, 40" satellite TV, air conditioning, safe, telephone, Wi-Fi, refrigerator, minibar (on request, for a fee), tea/coffee station with daily refill, and balcony or terrace (D/DI). Beach towels available for a deposit. A bottle of water is included upon arrival. Can also be booked for single occupancy (DE/DEA).

Double Room Superior

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms, featuring shower/WC, bathrobes and slippers, as well as a fruit basket and wine upon arrival (DSU/DAS/DSI). Also available for single occupancy (DSE).

Double Room Deluxe

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms, featuring a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes, slippers, a pillow menu, tablet (for a deposit), a fruit basket and wine upon arrival, as well as an additional sleeping possibility and are more spacious (DD2). Also available for single occupancy (DD1) or at an extra charge with pool view and further amenities (turndown service and down duvets) (DPB).

Junior Suite Superior

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, featuring a combined living/sleeping area and additionally a welcome package with fruits and sparkling wine, minibar (weekly refill with non-alcoholic drinks) and beach towels (JU2).

With the same amenities and floor space as the Junior Suite Superior, featuring a living/sleeping room and a separate bedroom, as well as a kitchenette and a free safe (S2).

Breakfast/Half Board/All Inclusive

Breakfast buffet with show cooking in the Ambrosia restaurant from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, sparkling wine brunch every Sunday. If Half Board is booked, dinner is also included as a buffet with show cooking in the Ambrosia restaurant from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.

All Inclusive

Breakfast buffet with show cooking in the Ambrosia restaurant from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, sparkling wine brunch every Sunday. An early continental breakfast between 7 AM and 7:30 AM is possible with prior reservation. Lunch is served as a menu or buffet (depending on the number of participants) from 12:30 PM to 4 PM.
Dinner is served as a buffet with show cooking in the Ambrosia restaurant (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM).
Drinks at the bars (10:30 AM - 12 AM, last order at 11 PM): Cold and hot beverages, soft drinks, juices, draft beer, selected branded alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, selected cocktails and spirits.
During the day, cold and hot snacks (11 AM - 4 PM) as well as cookies, cakes, and waffles (4 PM - 6 PM) are available.
For late arrivals (after 9 PM), cold dishes are served. Lunch and dinner include free mineral water, branded soft drinks, draft beer, and regional wine. Vegetarian dishes are available. A dress code applies for dinner. Free participation in a gala or barbecue dinner once a week (reservation required).

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government has introduced a climate resilience levy, which must be paid by guests on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room as of January 1, 2025.
