Location

The modern "BIO Suites" hotel is located in Rethymnon, approx. 600 m from the historic center around Fortezza fortress. Numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The beautiful long sandy beach is only approx. 50 m away, and a private beach section is only approx. 200 m from the hotel. Chania Airport is approx. 69 km away, and Heraklion Airport is approx. 84 km away.

The hotel has a total of 146 renovated accommodations, with a reception hall renovated in 2023 offering a 24-hour reception (the main entrance was also renovated in 2023), a lounge area with seating and satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), internet corner (included), 3 elevators, luggage storage, a bar renovated in 2023, and the restaurant also renovated in 2023. The attractive outdoor area features a freshwater swimming pool, a children's pool, and a sun terrace. A pool/snackbar is available in the pool area. Pool towels are provided by the hotel. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and at the nearby private beach section.

Superior Studio

The tastefully furnished rooms feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, safe, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, a combined living/sleeping area with a kitchenette (refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster), coffee/tea station (refilled daily), and a balcony or terrace. Upon arrival, a bottle of water, a bottle of wine, and fruit are provided (U2S).
Optionally bookable with breakfast only (2AT) or half board Plus only (BU2) and for single occupancy (U1S).

Superior Apartment

These apartments have the same amenities as the Superior Studios but include a separate bedroom (A2U/2IA).
Optionally bookable with breakfast only (R2A, Superior Apartment Type A) or half board Plus only (UA2, Superior Apartment Type B), with 2 bedrooms and pool view (A22), and for single occupancy (A1U).

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board/Half Board Plus

Breakfast served buffet-style. Half board includes dinner served in a rich buffet format. The cuisine primarily uses local olive oil.
Half board Plus includes beverages (draught beer, red or white wine, soft drinks, juices, and water) with meals.
You can opt to dine at the à la carte restaurant (for a fee).
Smart casual attire is requested in the restaurant.

All inclusive

Breakfast buffet from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch buffet (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM), and dinner buffet (6:15 PM - 9:15 PM). During lunch and dinner, guests can enjoy unlimited house wine, draught beer, soft drinks, and water. Snacks and cakes are also available at the hotel bar from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Ice cream is also served in the afternoon from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
From 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks, water, juices, coffee (Greek coffee, filter coffee, iced coffee, espresso, cappuccino), and alcoholic beverages such as draught beer, house wine (red, white, and rosé), local spirits (Raki, Brandy, Ouzo), and international drinks (Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila, Whiskey, Vermouth, Aperitifs, Liqueurs, Long Drinks, selected cocktails) are included at the bar.

Note on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience levy, payable by the guest locally, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, is tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room.
