Location

The Angela Downtown Hotel is centrally located in the historic capital of Rhodes, making it an ideal base for sightseeing and exploring the island of Rhodes. A beach is located approximately 300 m away and offers a refreshing escape from the city bustle. The tourist center boasts numerous shops, restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops. Other excursion destinations include the tourist resort of Faliraki, about 8 km away, and the beautiful village of Lindos, about 50 km away on the east coast of the island. For mobility during your holiday, car and motorcycle rentals are available, as well as a taxi stand and a bus stop (approx. 50 m away). The airport (RHO) is about 17 km away.

Facilities

The 5-story city hotel offers 64 comfortably furnished rooms where you can relax after an eventful day. It provides guests with a reception (check-in from 3 PM, check-out by 11 AM), a lobby with a bar, an elevator, and air conditioning. Refreshing drinks and good company can be enjoyed at the hotel bar. Wi-Fi is available free of charge for hotel guests. The hotel's outdoor area includes a freshwater pool (approx. 75 m²). Sun loungers are available free of charge here.

The renovated double rooms feature air conditioning (June-September), a double bed, a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer and bathrobe, telephone, TV, a safe (rental), a minibar (daily refill included), and a small (partially French) balcony (D).

The Double Rooms Superior offer the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but with a large balcony offering a city view (DSU).

Note on climate resilience levy

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from 01.01.2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 € per day and room.
