Location

St. Michael is the largest village in the municipality of Eppan an der Weinstraße and its cultural and economic center. The traditional Überetsch architectural style defines the village's appearance – recognizable by numerous impressive manor houses, crenellated walls, bay windows, and double-arched windows.
Eppan is located in the south of South Tyrol, not far from Bolzano, nestled between vineyards, apple orchards, forests, and mountain ridges. As South Tyrol's largest wine-growing municipality, Eppan is also one of the richest regions in castles in the Alps. Two bathing lakes invite you to refresh yourself in untouched nature during the summer.

The family-run hotel is quietly located, surrounded by ancient vineyards and framed by the steep rock faces of the Mandel Mountains, yet still in the center. Amenities include a reception, a lounge bar with a panoramic terrace, a reading corner, and a shop. Additionally, there is a breakfast room and a dining room with a terrace offering a panoramic view. The garden area features a pool area with a year-round heated (29°-30°C) outdoor pool and a sunbathing lawn with a whirlpool. Children are only allowed in the pool area under adult supervision. There is also a bicycle room with lockable lockers and battery charging stations for all cyclists. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Double Room Pinot Bianco

The approximately 23 sqm Double Rooms Pinot Bianco are located on the east side and feature a balcony, inviting you to relax. The amenities include a double bed (180 x 200 cm), a seating area, a desk, and carpet flooring. The bathroom has a shower and toilet; some rooms also have a bidet. For comfort, there is a hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, room safe, refrigerator, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Pool towels, bathrobes, and slippers are provided on loan for guests during their stay.

Deluxe Double Room Vernatsch

The approximately 27 sqm Deluxe Double Rooms Vernatsch impress with modern, renovated comfort and a pleasant east-facing orientation, ensuring friendly morning light. From the balcony, guests can enjoy relaxing moments, while the high-quality bathroom with shower, toilet, and bidet offers all amenities for a comfortable stay. The room features include a hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, room safe, refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi.
The elegant living and sleeping area has a double bed (180 x 200 cm) or – upon request at the time of booking – two separate single beds. A cozy seating area, a sofa bed for additional persons, and a desk complete the room's offerings. Bathrobes, slippers, and pool towels are provided on loan for guests during their stay.

Junior Suite Pinova

The approximately 35 sqm Junior Suite Pinova is modernly renovated and offers a pleasant start to the day thanks to its east-facing orientation. The suite features a balcony, an elegant bathroom with shower, toilet, and bidet, as well as comfortable amenities such as a hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, room safe, refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi. For additional comfort, bathrobes, slippers, and pool towels are provided on loan during your stay.
In the living and sleeping area, guests will find a double bed (180 x 200 cm) or – upon request at the time of booking – two separate single beds, a cozy seating area, a sofa bed for the 3rd and 4th person, and a desk. Air conditioning ensures a pleasant room climate on warm days.

Meals

Breakfast/Half Board

The Vital Breakfast Buffet is open from 7 AM to 10:30 AM. On Sundays, a sparkling wine breakfast is served. The 5-course evening menu is served from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. In the summer, themed and barbecue evenings are held on the panoramic terrace.
Dietary intolerances are accommodated, but advance notice is required. Unconsumed meals cannot be deducted from the price, e.g., breakfast if departing before breakfast starts. However, a packed breakfast can be prepared to take away (by arrangement).

Sports included

The fitness room is equipped with a treadmill, a cross-trainer, a bicycle, yoga mats, dumbbells, a wall bar, and a strength training machine. It can be used anytime (24/7) with your room key or card.

Sports for a fee

Rental of e-mountain bikes (for a fee) and rental of hiking backpacks, walking and hiking poles (professional advice for hikes and bike tours with hiking and bike map rental).

Wellness

The wellness area includes a Finnish panoramic sauna, an herbal steam bath, an ice fountain, and a relaxation room with tea and spring water. Additionally, there is a massage room for body treatments and massages (available for a fee by appointment).
For booked massages that are not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, 90% of the treatment price will be charged. Access to the relaxation room and sauna area is not permitted for children under 16 years of age.

Hotel Service

The reception is open daily from 8 AM to 9 PM.
On the day of arrival, rooms are available from 2 PM. Arrivals are possible until 11 PM by prior arrangement; dinner cannot be served later than 8 PM and will be forfeited.
On the day of departure, rooms must be vacated by 11 AM. For late check-out, a service fee of approx. €50 will be charged on-site.
Hotel Christof is a non-smoking hotel. All rooms, indoor areas, and the panoramic terrace of the breakfast and dining rooms are non-smoking areas. Smoking is permitted on the lounge terrace, on room balconies, on the sunbathing lawn, and outdoors around the swimming pool.
Children up to 2.99 years old stay for free in their parents' bed (without meals). A crib is available upon prior reservation (for a fee of approx. €20.00 per night without meals), payable on-site. An additional bed for a child under 3 years old is possible upon prior request; a mandatory charge of €40.00 per night (without meals) will be collected on-site.
Dogs are allowed on request (for a fee of €20.00 per dog/day). Not allowed in the wellness area, swimming pool, sunbathing lawn, and breakfast/dining areas (indoors and outdoors).
Dogs must always be kept on a leash in the hotel and on the hotel grounds; owners must provide their own basket or blanket. Other pets are not allowed.
Crib price: approx. €20.00 per night without meals, payable on-site.

The hotel has an elevator and free parking directly at the hotel. A garage space can be booked for a fee (approx. €15 per space/day) on-site, subject to availability. There are 6 charging stations with up to 22kW in the garage, compatible with all common electric cars (Type 2 plug). Charging electric cars will be billed to the room bill.
