Location

Hotel Istra, part of the renowned Liburnia hotel chain, is located directly on the harbor of Opatija, offering unique views of the Adriatic Sea. Shops, as well as bars and restaurants, are in close proximity. The center of Opatija is about 2.5 km away and can also be reached on foot via the famous Lungomare promenade. Rijeka Airport is approximately a 50-minute drive away.

Facilities

The fully air-conditioned hotel, voted best 3-star hotel in Croatia in 2022, features a total of 171 rooms spread across five floors with three elevators. It offers guests a 24-hour reception, a lobby with a bar, and currency exchange services. For dining, the main restaurant and the à la carte bistro "Nostromo" (for a fee) are available. You can end an eventful day at the hotel bar. The hotel's own bathing platform with sea access invites you to sunbathe and relax within walking distance. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available at the beach for a fee. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel for guests.

Double Room

The comfortably furnished double rooms, approximately 13-22 m², feature two separate beds, each 90 cm x 200 cm, a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV, telephone, and Wi-Fi, with a street view and no balcony (D/D1K).
Optionally bookable with sea view and no balcony (DM/D1M).
Additionally, economy rooms are available for specific contingents (SSZ/SS1).

Superior Double Room

With otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms, these rooms are slightly more spacious and feature a double bed measuring 200 cm x 200 cm, with a street view and no balcony (DSU/1DS/DAS).

Superior Double Room Sea View

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these rooms offer sea views and a balcony (DMU/UKM).

Single Room

The small, comfortable single room consists of a single bed, internet access, a rental safe, and a flat-screen cable TV, as well as individually regulated air conditioning (from June to September) and central heating. The bathroom has a shower (approx. 8-10 m², E).
