Location

Hotel Istra is located on the island of St. Andreas, also known as Red Island, which is part of the Rovinj archipelago. Boats run hourly to the island from Rovinj between 5:30 AM and 12:30 AM. The city center can be reached by boat (free of charge) in about 15-20 minutes. The car-free oasis is surrounded by sun and sea. A sandy beach and a pebble beach with showers, loungers, and umbrellas (included) are approximately 50 m away.

Facilities

The hotel has a total of 326 rooms. Facilities include a reception hall with a 24-hour reception, Wi-Fi (free throughout the hotel), hotel restaurant, fish restaurant, Captain's Club, pizzeria, grill restaurant, three bars, an aperitif bar, an outdoor freshwater pool, and an outdoor seawater pool for adults and children. Loungers and umbrellas are included here, as well as on the beach.

The comfortably furnished double rooms have a double bed or 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a furnished balcony (D).

Family room

With the same amenities as the Superior rooms, the family room has two rooms with a connecting door (DF2).

Superior double room

The rooms, approx. 23-29 m², are equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, safe, Wi-Fi, and telephone, a bathroom with bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony (DSU/DS1/1DS). Also bookable for 2 adults and one child with an additional sofa bed (KDS).

Junior Suite (on request)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the Junior Suite has an additional living area with a sofa bed for one more person and a balcony (JS2).

Executive Suite (on request)

The Executive Suites, approx. 51 m², have similar amenities to the double rooms and feature an additional living area with a sofa bed or 2 sofa beds for two additional people, as well as a balcony (ES2).

Half Board Plus

Enjoy breakfast and dinner buffet. In addition to dinner, you will receive the following drinks: house wine, draft beer, water, and mineral water, as well as non-alcoholic beverages from the dispenser.

Sports included

(subject to availability): Sports activities such as Zumba, aerobics, water aerobics, fitness, beach volleyball, and archery, only as part of the animation program.

Sports for a fee

(subject to availability): Tennis, table tennis, bocce, bicycle rental, Nordic walking pole rental, and various water sports activities through local providers: rental of pedal boats, paddle boats, motorboats with skipper, rental of banana boats, balls (football, basketball, beach volleyball), diving school, and surf school.

Children's program

Children's playground and indoor play area. In the low and high season, there is a baby and mini club daily for about 1.5 hours in the morning and afternoon. In the main season, there is a baby club (0-4 years) only with parental supervision daily from 10 am to 7 pm, a mini club (5-11 years) daily from 10 am to 7 pm, and a teen club (12-18 years) with a specially designed program of leisure activities for teenagers.

Wellness

Free entry to the wellness area (Active Spa, Finnish sauna, aroma sauna, steam bath, indoor pool, and fitness). Massages and treatments are available for a fee.

Entertainment
